To Patients and Family Members

The website section dedicated to patients and family members contains information on the activities of the outpatient clinics, units and operative units of the Central Hospital and Pitkäniemi Hospital, the Health Care District of Ylä-Pirkanmaa, and Valkeakoski and Vammala Regional Hospitals, as well as their contact details and persons in charge. This information is available on the left under Operational Units.

The section also provides information on patients’ rights.

Health care and medical students undergoing internship as part of their studies may also be involved in the treatment of patients. Patients will first be asked to agree to having medical students present during the connsultation.
